हाल ही में एक्ट्रेस अनुष्का शर्मा का एक वीडियो सामने आया था, जिसमें वह मुंबई की सड़कों पर कचरा फेंक रहे युवक को फटकार लगा रही थी। इस वीडियो को विराट कोहली ने अपने ट्विटर अकाउंट पर शेयर किया था। जिसके बाद बाद कई तरह के रिएक्शन सोशल मीडिया पर देखने को मिले। कुछ लोगों ने अनुष्का के इस काम की तारीफ की तो वहीं कुछ लोगों ने इसे पब्लिसिटी स्टंट भी बताया। जिस लड़के को अनुष्का ने फटकार लगाई थी, उस लड़के ने भी विराट और अनुष्का के नाम एक फेसबुक पोस्ट लिखा।

अरहान सिंह नाम के इस लड़के ने अपने फेसबुक पोस्ट में लिखा कि मैं अपनी गलती के लिए माफी मांग रहा था, लेकिन अनुष्का शर्मा चिल्लाती ही जा रही थीं। अरहान सिंह के फेसबुक पोस्ट के बाद उनकी मां भी विराट और अनुष्का पर बुरी तरह भड़क गई हैं। अरहान की मां गीतांजलि ने विराट कोहली और अनुष्का शर्मा के इस वीडियो को सस्ता पब्लिसिटी स्टंट बताते हुए अपनी भड़ास निकाल है।

You both posted a video for your fans n followers by VIOLATING Basic Rights to privacy &you shamed my son in the video as well in your post content you both may be who you are in your fields, with millions of followers & all the PR backing you... you may be payed for your campaigning or maybe doing it for sheer publicity As a mother,I would like to state that you have not only shamed my son @arhhansingh on social media by not blurring his face, but youve also exposed him to unwanted hostility.... and danger from fanatics for such a small thing that you claim he has done but have no proof of anyways ? I am concerned about my sons SAFTEY !!! how dare you crush somebodys image/and morale and reputation and expose him to public hate, a boy who is on the verge of starting his ventures, ..just to prove what good citizens you both are to increase your fan following ?How dare you?? If you both really cared or bothered about cleanliness , then you would actively do something about all the garbage in your own lane.. you would make a noise and use your VOICE to urge the municipal authorities to take action atleast in the lane where you live,to start with, which you havent . Posting videos of fake bravado just to fool your followers. If your intention was genuine then you would pull over and politely correct the person for littering IF THEY DID in a decent and real manner... and not by displaying such a rude and arrogant attitude, and then posting it for the world to see! You have caused a lot of grief with your post & this is morally and humanitarianly very wrong. You may be #AnushkaSharma or #viraatkohli in your house or on screen & the field...but on the streets you are just a citizen trying to correct another... DO IT WITH KINDNESS ....fear karma . And just FYI , he did not react badly, not coz of who you both are.. we couldnt care less,but only because he has a decent upbringing ! Unlike people like you, who seem to think that you are the empowered ones to talk and treat people as you wish !

गीतांजलि ने विराट कोहली और अनुष्का शर्मा के इस वीडियो को सफाई के नाम पर सस्ता पब्लिसिटी स्टंट बताते हुए एक लंबा इंस्टाग्राम पोस्ट लिखा है। उन्होंने लिखा- "सफाई अभियान के नाम पर सस्ती लोकप्रियता हासिल करने का स्टंट हम नहीं कर सकते। विराट और अनुष्का, आप दोनों ने मेरे बेटे के बारे में वीडियो अपलोड करके निजता के मौलिक अधिकार का उल्लंघन किया है। हो सकता है आप दोनों को इस वीडियो के जरिए इस कैंपेन से कुछ पैसे मिले हों या फिर आपने पब्लिसिटी के लिए यह काम किया हो लेकिन एक मां होने के नाते मैं कहूंगी कि इस वीडियो में मेरे बेटे का चेहरा साफ–साफ दिखा कर आपने मेरे बेटे को शर्मिंदा किया है। साथ ही उसकी जिंदगी के लिए खतरा भी पैदा कर दिया है, वो भी एक ऐसी बात के लिए जिसका आपके पास कोई सबूत नहीं है।"

अरहान सिंह ने विराट कोहली और अनुष्का शर्मा के नाम एक फेसबुक पोस्ट लिखा है। अरहान ने लिखा है- ``यह बहुत भयानक था। मैंने गाड़ी ड्राइव करते समय प्लास्टिक का छोटा-सा टुकड़ा सड़क पर फेंक दिया था। मेरे बराबर से गुजर रही एक कार से खिड़की का शीशा खुला तो मैंने देखा कि अनुष्का शर्मा बैठी हैं। वह क्रेजी महिला की तरह मुझ पर चिल्लाने लगीं। मैं अपनी लापरवाही के लिए माफी मांग रहा था, लेकिन वह लगातार चिल्लाती रहीं। अगर वह थोड़ा विनम्रता से बात करती तो छोटी स्टार नहीं हो जातीं। मैनर्स बहुत तरीके के होते हैं और उनमें से एक तरीका बातचीत का भी है।``
